Who else meditates on Adderall and what are your experiences Meditation on Adderall for me is very effective it is much easier to maintain awareness and no-mind or beginners mind.?

While I've never done meditation on stimulants, I have some perspective on this as I happen to be a psychiatrist who also practices Zen. I think for someone who has legitimate medical problems with attention a stimulant such as Adderall can be very helpful for meditation. However, if used improperly or used without the careful direction by a competent physician, it can be harmful to both a person's health and to meditation. My personal feeling is also that self-directed use of a stimulant for purposes other than a legitimate medical need would also violate the precept on abusing intoxicants.
