you NEED abs, traction control is nice but abs is a must. without abs your tires will lock up on the ice when braking. when this happen you cant steer, abs lets you steer ,as well as can be expected, but yes it gives you a lot more control in slippery conditions. you need abs
ABS brakes will activate on random if the abs sensors are faulty or have formed a build up of debris on the magnetic head. removing the wheels and inspecting the abs sensors and cleaning them by hand may help in preventing the abs system to engage.
Anti-lock brake system (abs) prevents the wheels from locking up and allows you to steer out of a situation.
ABS allows the average driver to brake harder while still being able to steer, something brakes w/o ABS usually won't allow.
i dont know check out Google....
You may have damaged an ABS sensor or ABS sensor wiring. Go back and check each wheel.
Anti-lock braking system
Operating abs brakes are easy. The anit-breaks are there for hen your other brakes go out.
The wheels do not lock up with abs. This gives you more control to steer the vehicle out of danger but it takes longer to stop.
your abs sensor light is on probably becuase the abs in one or all of your breaks are not working, take it to a mechanic so they can tell you if that is for sure the problem.
It has ABS.
The abs system is the anti-lock break system you shoud have your breaks checked as soon as possible
