∙ 16y agoThe blue liquid in your car's windshield washer is a mixture. It is typically a combination of water, detergent, and coloring agents.
Doesn't the rear window washer use the same reservoir as the windcreen washers? It does on my 1998 Forester. If I keep the reservoir topped up regularly I am never in want of liquid for washing the rear window. ***I had a 2001 (and now have a 2003) Forester. The front and rear share the same fill tank. The 'pickup' for the rear is set higher so tf the fluid level gets low the rear stops working first.
The issue could be a clogged sprayer nozzle, a faulty washer pump, or a broken washer fluid line. Check the nozzle for any debris blocking the flow, listen for the sound of the washer pump when trying to spray, and inspect the washer fluid lines for leaks or breaks. If necessary, clean or replace the nozzle, pump, or lines as needed.
the washer fluid tank is under the hood... usually by itself and has blue liquid in it. It may also have an image diagram of a wiper and spray on the cap
First I have heard of windshield washer fluid having an expiration date. If it looks clean and doesn't stink, I'd use it.
The washer pump is part of the washer liquid reservoir bottle. It is hidden in the fenderwell. You can get to it by removing the fender liner on the driver's side. The washer pump is easy to see and replace once the fender liner is off. Also, the washer hose runs inside the front left fender up to the washer jets on the hood. You have to get inside the fender to repair or replace that hose as well as the pump or the plastic reservoir bottle.
motor broke are blocked jets Have you checked the washer fluid level lol
That's your windshield washer fluid level.
It is not recommended to use liquid dish soap in a high efficiency clothes washer. Liquid dish soap can create excess suds in the machine, leading to potential damage and inefficient cleaning. It is better to use a detergent specifically designed for high efficiency washers.
Washers, like most things, come in various sizes having various weights.
can you use rit dye in a whirlpool cabrio dryer
No, the front and rear washers are fed from the same reservoir. There are two pumps on the reservoir tank. The higher one is for the back window, which works like a warning of low fluid level- if the rear washer doesn't work, it means your fluid level is low and needs to be topped up.
