The 135i is slightly faster due to its weight advantage. Both can be tuned fairly easily to make lots more power.
official numbers from BMW are saying 5.1 but Motor Trend and Car and Driver are saying that number is conservative and have produced easy (and repeated) 4.7 sec. times.
The hood on a 1995 BMW is opened by locating the hood release below and to the left of the steering column. It is pulled outward to release the hood and the latch under the lip of the hood is lifted to open the hood.

The 135 is faster. The 335i coupe has a 0-60 time of 5.1 seconds, where as the 135i has a 0-60 time of 4.8 sec. For even higher performance, the 1-series is offered as a 135i M, or the 335 which is offered as a 335is.
The BMW hood latch release lever is located on the floor, next to the drivers seat. Pull the lever upward to release the hood latch.

To open the hood of a 2006 BMW 5 Series, first pull the lever to the left, under the driver's side instrument panel. Then press the release handle under the hood.

On paper the 135i will be faster, due to a better power to weight ratio than the RS4. Equally at higher altitudes the 135i will benefit from it's forced induction system over the RS4's naturally aspirated V8. On pull off, when launched correctly the RS4 should fair better, largely on account of its all wheel drive system.
