On second gen Touaregs (2011-present), there are two fuse panels, one on each side of the dash.
Open the door and feel towards the bottom of the D-shaped (or reverse D-shaped on the passenger side) panel for a small, square indent. You will need a standard screwdriver, or something similar, to pop open the panels. There are three posts on the panel that insert into holes in the dash that must be carefully freed before the panel will fully remove. It will require a little pulling.
There is no fuse diagram inside the panel or box identifying the function of each fuse. I don't see a fuse diagram in the owner's manual, either.
