the tank is behind the front bumper passenger side......to fill...open hood and filler is located on the end side of the radiator...open cap of filler...not the radiator cap.
you have to remove the battery. Also the plastic piece that is holding your battery. Underneath you see a green cap; that's it good luck!
look at the bottom hose on the radiator follow it to the pump. The hose is below the filler neck on the radiator. should find it about 6" behind the filler cap.
It is not the same thing. Filler cap is on the plastic overflow tank with the plastic flip over cap. The rad cap is a pressure cap on the radiator and it is made of metal and it unscrews
The radiator cap and filler are part of the upper radiator hose.
Up front left side by radiator, blue cap
Unscrew the plastic drain petcock lower drivers' engine side of the radiator and take off the filler cap
If there is oil in the radiator top up bottle the most likely cause is that your head gasket has blown and the oil is leaking back into the cooling system. A couple of checks you can do is 1. remove the oil filler cap and look inside the top of the engine and look at the filler cap if there is a grey residue (emulsified oil) then your head gasket has most likely blown also you can remove the radiator filler cap and start the engine, if there are any bubbles coming up in the radiator bottle this is also a pretty sure sign that hte haed gasket has blown. Not a cheap job to repair. Hope this helps. If there is oil in the radiator top up bottle the most likely cause is that your head gasket has blown and the oil is leaking back into the cooling system. The radiator fluid filler cap is located on the right side of the bike, behind the plastic neck trim in front of the fuel tank.
Open hood . Lean over, Look down for fan blades. The radiator is in between you and those fans. Look fer it. There is a filler cap on the left top of the radiator. Check the water while you are at it.
