either 6 years or 80,000 miles. I bought my 02 a4 3.0 with 80,000 miles on it and got the timing belt and water pump service before i really drove the car a lot. the belt is rubber and can easily wear in 6 years. better safe than sorry.
The recommended service is to change it every 90,000 ,mlles. This is an interference engine so if the belt breaks you will have engine damage. Do not neglect this service.
Some have a timing belt, some have a timing chain. Depends and year, make, model.
if it's a petrol model then it's every 40,000 miles.
Depends on the year, and model which you failed to list.
They don't have timing belts - since the introduction of the 2002 model they have had timing chains which should last the life of the engine.

how to change timing belt mercedes benz E200 1.8L 2008 model
Very carefully. This question can't be answered in detail without knowing the car model and year.
It will cost approximately 500 to 600 dollars to change a timing belt. The exact cost to change the timing belt is dependent upon the make and model of the vehicle.
