A cam belt or timing belt on a Peugeot 306 GTI only needs to be changed if it breaks or shows signs of wear. Changing the cam belt on a vehicle is not part of the regular maintenance. It only needs to be inspected once a year unless problems arise.

this depends on whether your car is a diesel or petrol and what year it was manufactured. On a petrol model (all years) it is Peugeots recommendation that the belt be changed at 80,000miles but they also state that on vehicles with a lot of stop start driving ie. around town and school run type driving only, this should be halved to 40,000. On diesel models Peugeot stated that the belt should be changed every 40,000 miles or reduced to 36,000 for short journey cars.I hope this helps
IN the Haines manual for that car.
As a rule of thumb, most cars need the cam belt changed at every 100,000kms - or 5 years, whichever comes first. I think the Peugeot 306 handbook states 120,000kms, however I would very much advise AGAINST this, it's not worth the risk.
70,000 miles
The Peugeot 306 is manufactured by the French manufacturing company Peugeot. It was in production from 1993 to 2002 and was a replacement for the Peugeot 305.
In a Peugeot 306, the speakers are located inside the front doors. There should be four wires total, two for the speakers and two for the tweeters.
