Yes. Mine is not as cold as it used to be, my manual said to check air conditioner Freon levels. I wasn't sure it had one either since there is no separate button for it...just climate control.
im sure any 93 and newer Mercedes is on R-134a , some models may have used that refridgerant even earlier
