get the universal antifreeze it can be used with the blue or red antifreeze

A 306 HDI may continue to run after you switch off the engine if the ignition timing is set improperly. This will force the engine to continue running for several seconds.
the diesel tank capacity for a 2001 306 Hdi is approx £80 so around 55litres
Have you checked the throttle cable?
I think its under the rear seat
This happend to me... It could just be a bad conection.
No it will clog up the fuel filter unless the fuel tank is heated.
I don't have the manual right now, but I'm pretty sure you need 10.5 liters of coolant for the 2.0 HDI engine.
Check the plug to the EGR sensors hasn't come loose or a wire broken to it.
