I have a 2002 E320. The procedure is given in the owners manual. The 2003 may also have it in its manual. I have a 2000 E320 and found the procedure in my owners manual under FSS (Flexible Service Schedule) However, my instructions said to place the ignition key in position #1, which did not work. I had to place the key in position #2 for the reset procedure to work.
I reset the FSS by refering to the Owner's Manual.
FSS can be reset, look in Owner's Manual.
Instructions for resetting the FSS are in the Owner's Manual.

I just reset my indicator last night, so I know this works. - at least on my car. It's also a 2000 E320: 1. Place the ignition key in position #2. That's the one just befor the starter engages. (My owners manual said position #1, but that didn't work.) 2. Bring up the odometer/mileage reading on the screen, and then scroll until you get the FSS display. (Flexible Service Schedule) That's the one that shows how many miles until the next servicing. 3. Press the "R" (reset button) on the instrument panel for about 2 seconds and release. The display should change to ask you if you want to reset the reading. 4. Press and HOLD the "R" button again until the mileage resets. Note: Sometimes it won't work if any of the doors are open. Make sure all doors are closed.
