There are a number of reasons why your parking lights won't turn off. There could be a wiring problem in the system.
Of course.
check for short to power in the circuit
On my 1996 suburu there is a switch on the top of the steering wheel/column that is a toggle for the parking lights on/off. I accidentally hit it one day while cleaning my car and it took me hours to figure out how to turn the parking lights off...oops that lil switch i never touch got bumped and i didnt realize it.
Turn your head lights off before you shut the car off
In this order only. Turn engine off. Depress parking brake. Turn engine on. Lights will turn off. To turn lights back on relase parking brake.
Can't say for sure on the 2007, but my 2000 has a rocker switch at the top of the steering column to turn the parking lights on when the key is off.
A bad relay could be the reason why the parking lights on the Toyota Sequoia won't turn off. Swapping the relay out with another one may fix this problem.
you havent turend them off
You can slightly depress the parking break while the vehicle is off and then turn it on again an go. The lights will be off then, although this is more of a temporary fix. Do you mean the parking lights? if it's the parking lights that are on, check the switch on top of the steering column.
Check the adjustment of the brake light switch.
