manual for gearbox for trition 1998
There is a filler level plug, You'll need a 12mm allen key for that. It is located on the front face of the gearbox casing, next to the reverse light switch.
near the oil filler somewhere on the cover it will say how much you need to put in
i have a 1985 Honda civic and the valves need adjusting with a filler gage but i do not no what to set them on
Here is a diagram from a 1998 528i. Your car should be the same or very similar: http://bimmerboard.com/members/cn/E39-drivebelt.jpg If your belts are still intact, drawing a diagram of them before removing them is usually the best way to ensure you're doing things correctly.
i need to know where the gearbox is for my Ford Expedition
The Tdci's gearbox is supposedly "filled for life" and hence does not have a drain plug. The gearbox oil will drain out of the diff if you should ever need to change a drive-shaft. The gearbox oil level can be checked and topped up by taking the rectangular plastic cover off the front of the box (it's only clipped on to cover the clutch lever), then use a hex wrench (Allen key) to take out the black filler plug and squirt some 75w/90 in until it starts to dribble out.
when gearbox fault light comes on, it means there is a problem with the gearbox. you need to take vehicle to a mechanic
Depends how fast it is leaking but eventually, there will be no more oil and your gearbox will be TOTALLY DESTROYED. There should be a Filler plug normally on the top or the side of your gearbox. If you see a Fiat Main dealer or in fact any garage, they will be able to show you where to top up your gearbox. But really you need to have the leak diagnosed and fixed, might be a oil seal or gasket gone. I hope that helps.AnswerThe danger apart from destroying the gearboxis leaking oil onto the road potentially fatal to motorcyclistsThe filler plug is located on the front face of the boxit has a 12 mm Allen key fittingrefill until oil is at the bottom of the plug holebest wishesMike 2
There is no such term as a filler byte. You may need to repost.

The firing order is 1-3-4-2, number one is on the right hand side of the car (I.E. the opposite end to the gearbox).
