Need to change oil and filter on an AUDI 2012 1.8T, how many quarts of oil do I need
From what I got at O'Rielly. They said it takes 2.3 quarts.
it takes 7 quarts. 15w40 preferably.
4.7 Quarts for Turbo 2.0L Engine. 4.6 Quarts for Non Turbo 2.0L Engine
About 5.5. Make sure it is synthetic- prevents sludge build up.
The manufacturer's recommended engine oil viscosity is 5W20. For a 4 cyl non-turbo, you'll need 4.5 quarts. For a turbo or a V6 engine, you'll need 6 quarts.
If you have a non-turbo with a 2.4 liter engine, you'll need 4.2 qts. A non-turbo w/t a 2.0 liter engine will need about 4.0 qts. A turbo will need 4.2 qts w/t .11 qts of oil cooler.qts=quartsHope this helps:)
If it's totally empty you will need between 12 and 13 qts.
You need 2 quarts to make 2 quarts .
the 2.0 and 1.8 turbo engine take 4.25 qts. i am unsure about how many qts the VR6 takes, but I would personally start with 5 qts. The Mk4 2.8L. (vr6) takes 6.1 quarts of oil.
8.5 quarts
Depending on your engine size: The 2.7L V6 engine requires 6.3 quarts of oil The 2.8L V6 engine requires 6.5quarts of oil The 4.2L V8 engine requires 8.0 quarts of oil As always, double-check with your owner's manual (if you have it) to confirm.
