It took about 2.5 hours to remove it and 2 hours to put it back in. The Power Steering pump must be removed to access it. There are 3 bolts that hold it in.
1.1 hours
It should take around about an hour, varies on if you have anything ready.
first disconnect battery. next locate alternator. you have two bolts that swivel and two that don't. undo the red wire and if it has a smaller, it to. undo all bolts and pull up and out. Also, before you unbolt the alternator make sure you pop the belt off first
First you've got to loosen the tensioner pulley bolt. Loosen both bolts as usual on the alternator and that should give you the slack to take it off. If its already off then to put on a new one.
First to change the alternator: *Take out the oil carbronater *Then clean out the exhaust pipe *Take the alternator and clean what is dirty, then you don't need to change it, because now it's clean!
Two hours if you have never done it before. 30 minutes if you are quick.
