If the radio is showing "code", you should have a code with the paperwork for the car, if not, call a Volvo dealer and give them the vin number, they can look it up and you just enter it using the preset radio buttons. This has to be done any time you disconnect the battery for extended amount of time or remove radio. When I called the dealer to get my code, I had to fax a copy of the registration and my ID to prove I owned the car and it wasn't stolen. Just a heads up.

If you mean for removal, use a coin or screw driver to push in the handles on both sides of the radio until they click. When the coin or screw driver is removed the handles will pop out enabling the radio to be removed by pulling the handles. If you mean unlocking the logic, your Volvo dealer can get the code from your vin number.
