Set the desired temperatures -- ideally to a level below the ambient temperature, or the a/c will not engage. Make sure the the "Econ" LED is not lit (press the "Econ" button until it goes out). When the "Econ" light is on, the air conditioner is disabled, the fan is blowing only outside air.
