Generally, the oil pump is located on the front of the engine, behind the crankshaft pulley. 1) Lock the flywheel in place. 2) Remove the accessory belts and crankshaft pulley. 3) Remove the oil pump. A workshop manual will aid greatly in providing proper endfloat specs and special re-assembly instructions for the particular engine.
