1997 VW Polo: A part of inner half of inside handle splits off, and 2 screws can be removed. Leave the rest and take off door panel (probably starting above upper hinch, but mind the mirror cables).
Begin by removing the inside door panel. Remove the wiring harness from the electric window regulator. Remove the window regulator retaining screws.
Begin by removing the inside door panel. Remove the linkage from the window winder. Remove the window winder retaining bolts. The window winder will come off.
Open the drivers door, on the side of the dashboard there is a removable panel, its behind there.
Well, you could try one of those plungers for unblocking a sink.
This is the answer of my 2003 model Polo:- For left hand drive cars, it is on the left hand end of the dash board. Open the left hand side door fully, put a screwdriver into the small slot and lever off the cover. Inside you will find the fuse layout and pliers to remove/replace fuses. For right hand drive cars, the fuse panel is on the right hand end of the dash. .........might be the same for 2004
Ask a valid question and I'm sure someone will try to answer it.
There is one on the end panel of the dashboard. (i.e. the bit that you cannot see when the door is shut) just use a flathead screwdriver to open the cover.
Its not easy. I'm off to get mine done professionally... 1. Pop off the inside door handle, pull out the window controller 2. Unscrew the two bolts behind the window controller 3. unscrew the bolts under the door panel 4. pull the door panel off (it will snap off).... (I regret doing that bit) 5. Unplug everything that is holding the door panel to the door frame Then you have to unscrew another panel to get the speakers. and then put it all together again.... Don't give it a go unless you know what you are doing
I havent seen the door of a 08 polo but if its like any car iv taken the door cards off. there will be a series of screws over the door. If you are missing some there are usually some in the door pull if the pop the front off. After all the screws are out you will have to take the door pin off just screws off. Lastly the door will be clipped on on the inside. Just pry the door card away from the door GENTLY careful not to break them whilst popping them off with a flathead screwdriver. good luck
if you open the drivers side door. the fuses are located behind the flat panel at the end of the dashboard that is usually covered by the door. Use a Flat headed screwdriver to pull this off. there are your fuses there is also a chart showing which fuses are which
