i need to know how to remove a blower motor from a 2002 bonneville.
Begin by removing the wiring harness from your 2002 Montero blower motor. Remove the blower motor retaining bolts. Remove the fan from the front of the blower motor. Reverse the process to install your new blower motor.
The Blower Motor has a resistor attached to the blower motor itself. I'm not familar with a relay for the motor. I think you have to remove the Blower Motor itself to get access to the resistor. The blower motor is under the dash on the passenger side. It's like 3 maybe 4 bolts to remove.
easy to get to it. remove panel underneath glove box. will see a black cover with 4 screws. remove cover n its right there. take 15 mins to get to it......
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. 2. Remove the instrument panel glove box. 3. Remove the front screw from the right doorsill plate. 4. Remove the right pillar trim plate. 5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the blower motor. 6. Remove the bolt from the right lower IP support. 7. Remove the blower motor cover. 8. Remove the motor cooling tube. 9. Remove the blower motor flange screws and remove the motor.
Generally the blower motor resistor is found close to the blower motor. It relies on the blower motor to keep it cool.
Replace the blower motor also.
To change the blower motor resistor in a 2002 Nissan Maxima, locate the blower motor resistor under the glove compartment on the passenger side of the vehicle. There is a clip that is depressed and then the resistor will slide out. Remove both ends of the resistor and then replace with the new resistor.
Blower motor NG. Blower motor resister NG. Blower motor fuse NG. Blower motor switch NG.
On the bottom of the dash on the passenger side remove the black cover then remove the bolts on the blower and disconnect the wire. Reverse above to install.
The blower motor is located under the dash. Two or three screws hold the plastic panel that covers most of the passenger side wiring, etc. Once this is removed you will see the blower motor, very easy to get too and remove.
The fuse. The blower motor speed resistor. The blower motor relay. The blower motor switch. Check for power at the blower motor connection.
