To change the air filter on a C300 unscrew the air box hardware. Remove the clips that hold the box in place and open the box. After all the hardware is removed the air filter will be able to be replaced.
Open the hood and directly over the radiator there is an air scoop with a hose that runs to the airbox. Some Sienna's have metal snaps that hold the top of the airbox on and some are bolted down. In any case, open the airbox. It take a little bit of jiggling to get the top free and clear to access the air filter which is located on the bottom of the unit. Replace the air filter...the ribs on the filter face down. Replace the top of the airbox, making sure to engage the little plastic tabs on the left side and you're done. This is a very simple 5 minute job.
The air intake filter is located in what is called the airbox. An airbox usually is made of two parts with the filter sitting in between held together by easily released clips. Release the clips, open the box, remove the old filter and replace it in the exact position the old one was found in. A quite simple job anyone can do on their own :)
The battery for the c300 is located in the trunk, right next to the spare tire. Open the trunk then you open the compartment to the spare tire then you will see it.
first you need to remove air inlet hose from airbox then the rubber hose that is connected to your pcv valve once you have done this you can go ahead and loosen the clamp at the base of the airbox then just pull straight up the entire air box must be removed before you try to open the assembly,if you try to open the airbox before removing from engine you will break the plastic titts in the back of the airbox.
To get to your air filter, remove the 90 degree bent tube that connects the air box to the MAF sensor housing. At the top of your airbox, you should now see a wing nut that holds the cover of the airbox to the base. Remove the wing-nut and the top half of the airbox should come off (there is a seal in there so it may need a little prying if it's stuck together) and voila', there is the air filter. Rich
The only way to open your Mercedes-Benz C300 hood, is to release the hatch lock from under the steering column. It is located where it can not be seen when you are seated in the drivers seat, hence the difficulty in locating it.
there are 2. one is located in the fuel tank, the other is bolted to the drivers front inner fender. open the hood and look under and behind the airbox for a 3" diameter black can with a hose bolted to the top. that is the fuel filter.
First, it is a sensor, not sencer. Second, where the air filter is located, depending if it's stock or aftermarket air intake, it will be on the tube from the airbox or the tube from the open filter. Usually they are screwed on with torque style bolts. Remove these and the twist and pull. Do that in reverse to install. Voila!
hi, when u open the bonnet if u look to the left of the engine u will see the airbox. take the top cover off and there is the airfilter, change it and put the cover back on
Why do you want to open the oil filter?? The filter is a spin-on. Why do you want to open the oil filter?? The filter is a spin-on. Why do you want to open the oil filter?? The filter is a spin-on.
you open the gas cap to release any charge from the line
First off, open your hood and remove the airbox (this is assuming you have the 4 cylinder engine). Once you remove the airbox, look down at the rear of the engine and find the exhaust pipe. The oxygen sensor will be a few inches down the pipe from the exhaust manifold.
