With great difficulty my friend..

If your mechanically minded and patient then you could do quiet well if you follow my steps as i did mine today.

  1. Jack up the car on driver side, take off wheel and use secondary jack or something in case one fails.just been a bit safer.
  2. Engine mount/support arm has to come off 1st and is held by 3 bolts going through a spacer plate which is located smack in centre of timing belt array and one nut at the top but most important to put a secure bottle jack or something under the engine so it don't drop or strain other parts. (also vital for reassembly later)
  3. now with that arm out of the way and the wheel off your going to see 2 belts coming from the crankshaft pulley at the bottom of the engine to the water pump and alternator (I hope its a diesel model or there ain't much point) email me at goodturn@o2.ie and ill gladly talk you through the rest of it. Gav.
