On the back side of the headlight unit is a round cover. Give it a twist an it will come off. unplug the electrical connector from the bulb then release the two spring wire holders on either side of the bulb. Install in reverse order but DO NOT touch the glass part of the new bulb as oil from fingers will shorten the life of the halogen bulb greatly
Hello, Could you please tell me how to replace a headlight bulb, on a 2004 Volvo S80 T6. Thank You So Much!! Open the hood. On the back side of the headlight unit is a round cover. Give it a twist an it will come off. unplug the electrical connector from the bulb then release the two spring wire holders on either side of the bulb. Install in reverse order but DO NOT touch the glass part of the new bulb as oil from fingers will shorten the life of the halogen bulb greatly.
Begin by removing the wiring harness from the back of 2004 Volvo headlight. Remove the headlight assembly retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new headlight assembly.
You can access the low beam headlight bulb from the engine compartment. Push the bulb holder in and turn. The bulb will come out.

The style of plug is a 9004. I just replaced one in my 91 Volvo 240. The connector was about 5 bucks at the parts store. Make sure you splice the red black and blue wires in correctly!
this should help: http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14819
Your headlight wipers should come on when you spray your windshield washer fluid.
I can only assume you mean the passenger side turn signal light. With the engine off, open the hood and stick your hand into the space between the battery and the headlight on the passenger side. Identify the headlight wires and move your hand toward the fender, closer to the turn signal and identify the turns signal bulb wires. The wires will go into a place connector. Firmly twist the connector counter clockwise and pull connector out. Replace bulb.
No, you do not need to remove the bumper. here is a video on how to change your headlight really easy. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ieXVCTWQHSY I did it just to see how easy it was and it was pretty easy.
Remove the gas line (depressurize it first), and remove the electrical connector. Then remove the two bolts that fasten the valve to the intake manifold. The valve is below the manifold so it is not very easy to access.. Installation of the new one is reverse of the removal.
Haynes has a good one
