Most banks across the globe accept checks issued in US Dollar or any major world currency. You can contact a customer service officer in your bank by visiting their branch and tell them that you possess a check from Chase Bank USA and you wish on encashing the same. The bank would accept the check and send it for payment to Chase Bank. Once they receive funds from them, they would credit your account with an equivalent amount in the local currency that your bank account with them takes.

For Ex: You are encashing your check in Switzerland and 1 Swiss Franc is approximately equal to the US Dollar in value. Assuming they are equal 1 is to 1 and your Chase Bank check is for USD 1000, after your bank receives the funds they would credit CHF 1000 into your account.

Please note that the charges the bank might charge for collection of an international check varies from country to country and the bank will credit funds only after subtracting the finance charges related to the check collection.
