how change the air bag suspention
I have an 2003 Bravada and there is no way to turn the air bags off You CANNOT turn the air bag system off. You may be able to turn the passenger air bag off. Check with a GM dealer or the owner's manual.
No, it does not have an on/off switch. Why would it? Children go in the back seat.
You either turn it on or off. Whenever you have children in the truck with you, turn the switch to the off position.
On a 1996 Ford Ranger : If it has the passenger side air bag deactivation switch it is located ( in the center stack of the dash , just to the left of the ashtray ) Insert your ignition key into the switch , TURN AND HOLD the switch in the OFF position while you remove your ignition key
jack your car up high off the ground. trace the air line to the bag and disconnect by pushing the ring around it in and pull the hose out. reach on top of the air bag and there should be a cotter pin holding it. removing that pin will let you pull that bag right off. (easy) before you go jacking it up make sure you turn your switch to the air suspension switch off located in the truck.
If you switch the air bag on does the "telltale light" go out or stay on. If it goes out then one can surmise that the "telltale light" is telling you that it is turned off.
The light is on because there is a problem with the SRS. Have it repaired and the light will go off.
Insert the ignition key into the passenger air bag on / off switch , turn the key to the on position and hold while removing key
Yes, turn the switch off.
Start by disconnecting the battery.
if they are like the 85 air bag suspen they have an electronic bleed off valve on the bag
