∙ 15y agoIf the compressor in a refrigerator stopped working, the heat transfer cycle would be disrupted because the compressor is responsible for circulating refrigerant and compressing it to remove heat from the interior of the refrigerator. Without the compressor, the refrigerant cannot absorb heat from the interior and release it to the surroundings, resulting in a lack of cooling inside the refrigerator.
If it has stopped working then you will need a new a/c compressor. Get out your wallet they will run you about $1200.
check the fuse
Check blower motor fuse Check to see if compressor is working
the compressor was working and now it has stopped, the clutch spins free but when i put my tester to the wires that connect to the compressor there is no power and the clutch dose not jump on can you help.
This is an indication that either the a/c system is over charged or the cooling fan is not working.......
working principle of a compressor
too much oil in system or compressor not working properly are some possibilities
sync server has stopped working mdcrash reporttool has stopped working.?
Your compressor has possibly stopped working. If you are lucky, the serviceman will only have to replace the freon to get it going again.
Run your engine with the A/C on and watch the end of the compressor where the belt is. If it kicks on you will see the it start turning. if it doesn't turn and never starts turning you may need your A/C charged with freon. If the belt smokes you compressor may be locked up.
yes, it is a fuse it will be labled int. lights/ horn on the fuse box
