I agree,I loved swimming with some of my horses. But be careful..not all horses can
swim!!
Most definitely! It is much more difficult to keep your balance but can be done. Instead of reins you can hold on t the horse's mane. He won't mind one bit.
Bareback will also lead to better communication with body signals.
With a saddle as horses can have boney backs. The stirrups also give you somewhere to rest your feet so your legs don't get tired.

I personally find it more comfy, but it depends on the horse really. My horse has a boney back, but I still find it more comfortable, plus riding bareback builds up your balance and seat. It can also be better for the horses backs,as my horse has high withers, and we've found the saddle hurts him slightly, so he's better behaved bareback, but once again,it does depend on the horse.
~hope this helps.
If you ride a horse with a saddle, you're more secure, and its less likely you'll fall off. Also, with a saddle, your feet are in stirrups. Some beginners hold onto the front of the saddle when trotting. Riding without a saddle requires skill and balance. Riding without a saddle is called riding bareback.

No, of course not. Riding bareback or with a bareback pad gives you a personal feel with the horse. A good rider should only try riding without a saddle because it is very different than riding with a saddle. You need to learn to move with the horse when you ride bareback, there is only your legs to hold on with.
