A body paragraph is the main part of your essay or paper. It contains information which supports your topic paragraph, and will move the writing along from one topic to another. The body of your paper is everything except the introduction and the conclusion.

Start each supporting or body paragraph with the statement which directly supports your topic. Then, write several more sentences to explain this supporting statement.

When you are finished, you should have the topic paragraph, followed by one body paragraph for each one of your details or support sentences, and finally your conclusion to the statement.

You should pretend that you were another student in your school and your reading that piece of writing. What would you say? think what mistakes u have found and fix them.

Always reread your writing. You'll probably find a mistake. and fix it.Whenever you wirte think of this and din't waste your time.Use your mind in a proper way and be smart when you write.

1) A body paragraph should open with a transitional sentence. (It should lead the reader into the first piece of evidence you use to support your thesis statement, your argument)

2) From the transitional/opening sentence, you can go on to cite evidence to support your argument. This evidence must all revolve around a single theme and should come in the form of a quotation (or factual information from a primary source).

Note: If you put too many different themes into one body paragraph, then the essay becomes confusing. The first body paragraph should focus on ONE theme.

3) Once you use a piece of evidence, be sure and write at least one or two sentences explaining why you use it.

4) Then, wrap up the Body Paragraph with a mini-concluding sentence summing up only what you have discussed in that paragraph.

Since an essay is usually made up of 2-3 body paragraphs, just follow these same steps for the others ones.
