as far as I know a linty is a Geordie slang word for a linnet , a bird that flies fast so to move anyway like quickly is to move like a linty. my mam says she always thought a linty was an animal maybe like a monkey climbing a tree at fast speed, she uses that expression regularly as she is a Geordie . do any other geordies/lintys know if we are right about this?
Depends on how your using it in a sentence. "Is everything alright?" "I got a B on my test. I didn't get them all right." Hope that will help to clarify
