An analogy, or a synonym? I'm gonna go ahead and assume you meant an analogy.
Craziness is sort of like this...let's say you went down the street and decide to hit a restaurant for lunch. As you're poring over the menu, you can't help but notice this cute girl eyeing you from across the restaurant at a booth in the back. You notice, after a few furtive glances, that she has almost the exact same colored antlers as your ex. When you look back down you notice that the menu is written backwards, and that it's also apparently branded into your hands in unclean sigils of chaos. You raise your eyes as the waitress pauses at your table, her gaping maw a dripping, cyclopean tunnel of razor-sharp, backwards facing teeth; it expands inevitably in size, encompassing everything, until you are inexorably swept into the eldritch nothingness of the hideous beyond, to behold horrors which cannot and must not be spoken of.
It's kinda like that. But if you were looking for synonyms: hysteria, madness, insanity, mental illness, neurosis, psychosis, psychopathy, delusion, unbalance, derangement, dementia, lunacy, delirium, mania.
Crazy, Wacky, Goofy.
