After getting dumped by Sheila he started going crazy and wrote a letter to her with 5 drops of his blood. (Not sure if he really sent it though..) Later on, Tommy gets angered by Brad because Brad was jealous of Tommy's bright future so he tested Tommy's self control by telling him he did Sheila. (which wasn't true) So after that he went to Sheila's house and raped her. When he go home he got sent to jail with cameras watching over him 24/7 because Tommy is crazy and he had to get 2 years of therapy to get out. (Anger management and all) Oh and he can no longer fly any plane or even go near one again.
