The basic similarities are that they are both about vampires and they both involve young love. Both books have different types of vampires with different characteristics. In the twilight saga there is a love triangle and in the house of night there is a girl with many guy problems. they are both great series and if you are a fan of one you will most likely enjoy that other one.
