Describing words are things that are like adjectives. some examples are: * red truck * hot/cold weather * sparkly ring * awesome band * etc... *hope that helps!!! :)

By "describing words" you must mean the adjectives and adverbs that modify nouns and verbs. Here are a few adjectives: good, bad, indifferent; red, blue, green; big, small, medium; light, heavy; high, low. See the pattern? Now you try it.

Adverbs "describe" verbs ( you do know what a verb is, right?) and adjectives the way adjectives "describe" nouns ( same question). Many adverbs end in -ly. Can you think of any? This should be really (adverb) easy (adjective).

describing words are words that help you explane a word/statement/sentence. for example water, water is wet and cool. flowing, musical, powerful. water is the apple of my eye.

good job mate, you people did a good job, well done. i wish there was something else to put in. well done mates well done.-brett d.
