I am British and would say it varies alot from person to person. Some are kind and some aren't obviously but, stereotypically speaking British people are meant to be well-mannered and chivalrous. Its kind of hard to say but most british people like to be independent, and referred to as welsh, english, scottish or irish as opposed to british. Thats MOST people, not all. We tend to get annoyed when american films give us rubbish, strange accents. The question could do with being more precise though. We like alot of comedy where we state the unexpected or mock things that in our everyday life seem natural but in perspective really are not. We seem to like complaining, about the economy or the petrol prices that keep on rising etc. We live a wealthy lifestyle in comparison to some of the other nations (not all of them). We are mainly either Christian or atheist but there are alot of other religions being a multicultural country, mainly in big cities like London. We are a quite charitable nation an well and are, as I'm sure you know,a democracy. There's a brief to Britain.
