It depends on what the conclusion is for.

In middle/junior high you can maybe get away with three sentences.

In high school it is expected that your body paragraphs are more in depth, so the conclusion should be at least five sentences.

If you are in college then you shouldn't even be asking this question.

As a general rule, I would recommend 5 sentences for a conclusion.

3 to 4 sentences.... I'd say about 35 to 45 words. ____ It should not be verbose, but it needs to be long enough to draw threads together. (You don't say whether you mean concluding paragraph, which could be quite short or concluding section, which often needs to be more substantial).

Answer: well, it all depends on what project and or report you have.if you have a science project about 5 to 6 sentences.if a job interview thing... i would say 8-9 sentences or in shorter words 2 paragraphs!if you ever get stuck try shorting the sentences.for example:science project question:which kind of surface will a Baseball roll better?conclusion:based on my hypothesis, i said it would work better on the dinner table.i was totally right!i tried the carpet,a basket and a block of wood and the dinner table was the one that rolled better!it was rolling for 8.5 seconds until it fell on the floor!the basket got 3 seconds, the block of wood got 5 (1/2) seconds and the carpet got 4 (3/4) seconds! Now i know if i want to play a indoor ball game with my friends it is gonna be on the kitchen table,i just hope my mom is ok with that!
