The olympics
The Super Suicide Society of the Summer Session is a secret society that Gene and Finny create after they were swimming in the river. Gene sees the big tree and asks Finny if he is still afraid of the tree. He answers no and this is what lead to the society. They both get up on the tree limb and jump off into the river. Gene almost falls off the limb but Finny saves him. In order to get into this society, you must jump into the river from the tree branch. It is because of this that Finny gets into his big accident.
YES!!! Of course they are! Why else would Finny have enjoyed it when Gene pushes him down on the grass and laid down on top?!?!?!?! Yeah! in the beginning of ch 6, Gene spends a whole paragraph discussing his friend Brinker's butt. When Finny and Gene go to the beach together, they spend the night staring into the sunset & Gene starts describing how handsome Finny looks. It's obvious!
Because Hes black
Matt Christopher was 80 years old when he died (good age if you ask me).
Finny's 16 years old
because when finny died, gene said it was like his own funeral, finny was apart of him in which case you dont cry.
Finny may appear small and old to Gene because Gene has just had a transformative experience and his perception of Finny has shifted. This could symbolize Gene seeing Finny in a new light, perhaps with more understanding or empathy. It also suggests that Gene's focus is now on his own abilities and growth rather than on comparing himself to Finny.
Finny's age is never given, but it's proven that he's in his late teens or early twenties.
Finny died from a broken leg because he/she wasn't able to run or get to it's food bowl/water bottle.
Finny says they have to jump out of the tree for the war and because the upper class men, the seventeen-year-old boys, had already done it.
Falls down the stairs
he caused finny to be hurt
He wishes he were like Finny.
He thinks it is about a bunch of old men just trying to scare the kids.
Finny is welcoming and eager to connect with Gene when he talks to him at home. He is friendly, charismatic, and seems genuinely interested in their conversation. Finny's personality shines through, demonstrating his natural ability to make others feel comfortable and at ease.
Finny (Finnian) the gardener is a boy.
