Well i am not really sure but i think that "moil" would be used in a sentence the same way that "work" would because technically they mean the same thing and moil actually means- to work with grueling persistence, hard work. Well despite the obvious paradox of them needing the sun to work, they would be extremely expensive, both to buy and maintain, and would be unreliable. Both qualities you really don't want in a street lamp.
