I am not sure of a specific percentage on this one, but my guess is no. Many people use laptops, iphones, netbooks or ipads to do the things they would have done on a desk top computer. Those things are capable to go with you, so many people are buying them for convience.

Unless you have one of those iPhones with the WiFi on them, you can't go on the internet, so no.
What does jailbraked mean?
iPhones come locked, you are supposed to bring it to an AT&T store to get it unlocked. But, some people can jailbreak your iPhone so that you can use it without the phone feature.

Most people I know prefer touch, what with Iphones being touch and so on.

In the US, it is available on Verizon and AT&T. There are also ways to unlock the phone so that you can use it with any SIM but I don't recommend this.

no. blackberrys arent good phones. iphones are. trust me, get an iphone. there are just so many better things about it.
