Lots of people use iPhone wallet cases, and as iPhones gain in popularity there will be likely even more people using the wallet cases. Wallet cases are a great way to keep an iPhone safe.
I am not sure of a specific percentage on this one, but my guess is no. Many people use laptops, iphones, netbooks or ipads to do the things they would have done on a desk top computer. Those things are capable to go with you, so many people are buying them for convience.
