One downloads VMWare Fusion by going onto the internet and going onto the VMWare website to download the VMWare Fusion for one's computer or laptop system.
Yes VMWare is a form of virualization along with XEN, Microsoft HyperV and Parallels
Yes, vmware fusion is safe to download. Any of the official vmware programs will not do any harm to your computer and are very useful if you need a virtual machine.
VMware fusion is a download that allows you to run Windows on your MAC personal computer. You can get a free 30 day trial if you are interested in trying it.
VMware Fusion 3 can be downloaded directly from the VMware website as well as as at mirror sites that offer the software for purchase. For Mac users there are different download options than those who are downloading for Windows.
Windows, Macintosh and most servers offer virtualization technologies. Microsoft has the VirtualPC software. The Mac can run most OSes (Windows, Linux) via Bootcamp or through VMWare Fusion or Parallels.
Information about VMware migration may be found on the VMware home website and its forums. It may also be helpful to look at the VMware Fusion program on the site, as it supports VMware migration in addition to offering other benefits.
I'm running Windows 7 in Bootcamp on my Macbook and Macbook Pro. It also runs great under Parallels and VMware Fusion, assuming you give it enough resources.
Yes you can. All you need is a virtualization software such as Parallels Desktop or VMWare on the OS X. I've wrote up an article here on my choice of solution on this. http://www.atpeaz.com/index.php/2010/3-reasons-why-i-chose-parallels-over-vmware-fusion/ It's really great to be able to fully utilize the 'greatness' of OS X while still maintain the capability to run Windows-only apps while in OS X. Parallels Desktop 6 does a really good job at doing just that.
Originally No. You can though if you use VMware Fusion.
Not quite sure what you asking, buy if your looking to run Windows XP on your MacBook purchase a copy of Parallels 3.0 for Mac, or VMWare Fusion. For a full tutorial, go to http://www.apple.com/findouthow/mac/#tutorial=windows
I believe the closest thing to Parallels desktop for PC (Windows) is Virtual PC or VMware. But getting mac to run on it is a different story. Can be done, not easy though.
