can i get a grant to go to construction school
So...the residential construction industry is currently in a reccession and I have 1+ years as a superintendent for a Design-Build Firm. I was wondering what other profession would accept such experience. Thank you
You have to go back and study mechatronics for that.
A construction worker actually has many educational career paths open to him. He can learn the trade on the job, attend vocational school or obtain a bachelor's degree in construction engineering technology. Workers often start as unskilled laborers to learn the basics of the trade, then refine their skills by learning a specialized construction craft, such as floor and wall installation.
It depends on what area of construction you want to specialize in. It can take anywhere from a few months up to 5 years.
Many people with a degree in construction went to a trade school. A trade school is when when all of the work that you do is specifically for your desired job field.
The Bachelor of Science in Construction Management degree online program covers the fundamentals and offers a foundation in construction management. Employers increasingly are hiring construction managers with a bachelor's degree in a construction-related field
The best way to get into software construction is to get a technical degree in this field. You can go to ITTECH.com and look at the many school options in your area.
Becoming a construction manager does require a degree, there are several online degree programs available.
You did not state what type of construction you have experience in. There are many types of construction that experience or education. Marine construction (ship construction) may require a degree in naval architecture. An engineering degree would be required for bridge construction. I'm personally not aware of any online programs that offer that type of education.
No.
do construction workers need a high school degree
There is more than one degree type offered. You can get bachelor's, master's, and even PhDs in construction management.
You can get a construction degree from the Builders Association of North Central Florida. The University of Southern Queensland offers a similar program as well.
Well you will need to obtain a BA degree in construction science and how long it takes will depend on if you attend school full time or part time.
I don't recognize that as a college degree. It may be a degree in an for profit vocational training school.
The University of Oklahoma has a great Bachelors degree of Construction Science
