There were two major inventions that happened during the Renaissance era. The first was the mechanical clock that started measuring in hours. The second was glasses, that would help people with poor vision to see.
It is important for people to be making new inventions non stop or else we would stay in the same era, for ever.
The 1700s was an era of very important inventions. Some of the more notable were the seed drill, the piano, the tuning fork, the mercury thermometer, the lightening rod, soda water, the flush toilet, bifocal glasses, the circular saw, the hot air balloon, the threshing machine, the guillotine, the gas turbine, ball bearings, preserving jars, soft drinks, and the battery.
Revolution of ideas and arts inside countries or an area. It can promote more ideas and art. The Renaissance (a movement around the 14th-17th centuries) promoted new ideas in concepts like religion, and different styles of art, along with new inventions. Inventions can change a whole era for the good, or better (like Nobel, the man who created dynamite, saw all the destruction he caused and created the Nobel peace prize)
