Most of the time it is 4 inch.
For a given pipe size, schedule 160 would have the smallest ID (and thicker wall). Wall thickness and pressure rating goes up with increasing schedule number, causing the ID to go down with increasing schedule number.
Proper pipe sizing is in the installation manual. The piping should be one continuous run of the same size.
Screw a proper size end cap from your local hardware store onto the pipe and use thread sealer. Go to your local hardware store and purchase a cap that fits that size line. Use a sealant on the threads.
Pipe bore is the actual minimum inside diameter of a pipe, which is not necessarily the nominal pipe size.
1 1/4", only for the basin trap arm
I would use 3 inch for that.
Sizing of the line is an important study and calls for a techno-economic analysis. The various parameters that affect line size are:* Pressure: High pressure will reduce the pipe size, but will increase the pipe thickness* Size of the pipe: The bigger the pipe, the higher the cost* Thickness: Various factors affect the pipe thickness. E.g. Soil cover with the line having internal pressure/line in empty condition but having external soil pressure etc* Pipe material* Booster stations: How many booster stations will be there along the route? If the fluid pressure is low, the thickness decreases, but we need more booster stations and the reverse is the case if the fluid pressure is high* Pipe fabrication: Manufactured pipe versus roll-and-weld pipe* Buoyancy effect: Under-soil or underwater pipeline gets lifted up
The distance between the inside edge of two points in a direct line measured inside of any pipe whether, metal, plastic or PVC.

a 3 inch pipe

The smallest cell is about 8 microns in size.
20gauge piercings are the smallest common size.

Pipe size refers to the diameter of the pipe (in inch).
