" Over simplified" air brake diagram on a commercial road vehicle (does not show all air reservoirs and all applicable air valves).
The air compressor is driven off of the engine either by crankshaft pulley via a belt or directly off of the engine timing gears. It is lubricated and cooled by the engine lubrication and cooling systems. Compressed air is first routed through a cooling coil and into an air dryer which removes moisture and oil impurities and also may include a pressure regulator, safety valve and a smaller purge reservoir. As an alternative to the air dryer, the supply system can be equipped with an anti freeze device and oil separator. The compressed air is then stored in a reservoir (also called a wet tank) from which it is then distributed via a four way protection valve into the front and rear brake circuit air reservoir, a parking brake reservoir and an auxiliary air supply distribution point. The system also includes various check, pressure limiting, drain and safety valves.
Control systemThe control system is further divided into two service brake circuits: the parking brake circuit and the trailer brake circuit. This dual brake circuit is further split into front and rear wheel circuits which receive compressed air from their individual reservoirs for added safety in case of an air leak. The service brakes are applied by means of a brake pedal air valve which regulates both circuits. The parking brake is the air operated spring brake type where its applied by spring force in the spring brake cylinder and released by compressed air via hand control valve. The trailer brake consists of a direct two line system: the supply line (marked red) and the separate control or service line (marked blue). The supply line receives air from the prime mover park brake air tank via a park brake relay valve and the control line is regulated via the trailer brake relay valve. The operating signals for the relay are provided by the prime mover brake pedal air valve, trailer service brake hand control (subject to a country's relevant heavy vehicle legislation) and the prime mover park brake hand control.
The basic and most common functions of valves in a hydraulic system are to regulate the flow and pressure of liquids. There are varieties of valves as per their functions such as: Isolation valves, to open and close the system, Flow control valves/Balancing valves, to co control the quantity of flowing liquid, Pressure relief valve, to release the excess pressure from the system, etc.

principle refers to the basic objective of something. Operation refers to how it operates.

Almost anything that would be considered a robot has the following basic elements:A moveable body -- Robots may have wheels, limbs connected by mechanical joints, or other types of moveable segments. An actuator -- In order to be activated, robots may use an electric motor, a hydraulic system, a pneumatic system or a combination of all three.A power source -- A robot needs a power source to drive its actuators. Electric robots use batteries or extension cord. Hydraulic robots need pumps to pressurize the hydraulic fluid, and pneumatic robots need air compressors. An electrical circuit -- The electrical circuit powers the electric motor, solenoid or valves that control hydraulic or pneumatic systems.A reprogrammable brain (computer) -- The computer controls all other components. In order to change the robot's behavior, you just have to reprogram the computer.A sensory system -- Some robots have the ability to collect information about their environment and react to it.not written by me but found
air is introduced from top opening of valve . this air will deflect diaphragm that causes a motion and this motion move down the stem with the help of spring.the stem is connected to plug that will control the liquid flow.
the three basic categories of control?
The basic principle in the U.S. government is democracy. The founding fathers and the framers of the Constitution wanted to make sure the people had control.
The constitution, and particularly the Second Amendment.
A basic Pneumatic system can contain simply 3 things: - An air supply (compressor) - A 3/2 valve - A single acting cylinder. This is a simple system that will open and close something when a button is pressed/released.
The basic principle of the Constitution was to establish the Government of a new nation. One of the principles does establish civilian control of the military to prevent a military dictatorship in our country. Many counties around the world have military rule and they don't fair well for the citizens.
