Well, my Biology class was just learning about this. Transgenic organisms are bacteria, plants, or animals that are genetically modified to produce a desired product. Bacteria can be modified from frost plus to frost free, so that when they live on and near crops, making them frost free, which lengthens growing season. Some can be modified with insect toxins and live in and on roots which protects the plants from insects eating them. Scientists have also enhanced their ability to break down oil to help with oil spills. Another is to "clean" toxins in toxic waste dumps. These are just the examples that our teacher gave us. There are many more ways bacteria can be modified.
yes
Genetic engineering involves the use of recombinant DNA technology, the process by which a DNA sequence is manipulated in vitro, thus creating recombinant DNA molecules that have new combinations of genetic material
Produce stronger strains of bacteria
Since genetic engineering involves the manipulation of genes, genetics is the utmost importance in genetic engineering or any form of genetic technology. The knowledge of the genetics must be present for experiments to work.
This results in bacteria expressing human proteins or genes.
In genetic engineering, bacteria is used in altering and replicating the genes that are subsequently introduced into animals or plants.
yes
Genetic engineering of the bacteria.
Bacteriophage lambda primarily infects Escherichia coli bacteria. It is commonly used as a tool in molecular biology research for genetic engineering experiments.

Genetic engineering can be done with animals, produce and bacteria. Organisms that undergo genetic engineering are called genetically modified organisms. Some of the earliest GMOs were bacteria and mice. Food products, glofish and zebra fish are some of the more recent GMOs.
Produce stronger strains of bacteria
The intentional alteration or transfer of genetic material is called genetic engineering. It involves manipulating an organism's DNA to introduce specific traits or characteristics. This process is commonly used in agriculture, medicine, and research.

It depends how you take it, it is going through experiments to help human kind, if some one take for doing bad , that doesn't mean that Genetic engineering is bad or something else.
My guess is genetic engineering. Here is the definition of genetic engineering: "The deliberate modification of the characteristics of an organism by manipulating its genetic material." (found on google when i searched "genetic engineering definition," it did not say a link for the source)
