Unlike a static condenser (capacitor bank), the value of reactive power from a synchronous condenser can be continuously adjusted. A synchronous condenser also has other advantages over static condensers such as: - not being affecting by harmonics (some harmonics can even be absorbed by a synch condenser) - producing no switching transients
The reason why it is called a barometric condenser is because it makes contact and it is a long vertical pipe into which it condensates and cools the liquid flow to accomplish the removal of pressure. It is also stated that when the pump is used the system is called a low level barometric condenser.

The central air condenser releases heat from inside your home to the outside. As it works to cool the air inside, the condenser unit becomes hot due to the heat exchange process. This heat is a byproduct of the refrigerant cycle, where the refrigerant absorbs heat from inside your home and releases it outside.
If you mean the condenser to a central A/C system, it is usually located outside the house. The condenser part of the system is responsible for discarding the heat that has been "collected" from the inside the house. It is the evaporator that is inside.

A conventional dryer takes air from the room it's in and heats it up, then blows it into the chamber where the clothes are while tumbling the clothes. The cooler more humid air is then vented to the outside. A condenser dryer is basically a refrigerator in reverse. Air from inside the dryer is continually heated up using a condenser which is also cooling the outside air. The heated air is used again and again and the humidity taken out via the condenser, so this type of dryer does not need to be vented to the outside.
The purpose of the AC condenser fan is to help dissipate heat that has been absorbed by the refrigerant in the condenser coils. It blows air over the coils to cool the refrigerant back down to a liquid state, allowing the AC system to effectively release heat from inside the building to the outside.
Condensation on the outside of the condenser just makes the ice cube grow in size. Condensation on the inside of the condenser, assuming we are talking about a refrigerant type system, will limit the condensing temperature to somewhere below 32 deg.F lc

The inside of the air conditioner condenser can be cleaned by removing the hoses and running water through the condenser. Run water through the condenser until the water exiting the condenser is clear.
