It depends on the level of experience and wether or not you're certified and what level of certification you have (ie: Certified, Master Certified, Silver, Gold or Platinum), plus of course your level of expertise on A/V if it's residential or commercial etc. But on average it starts around $45K for basic level programmers with minimum A/V knowledge, all the way up to $150K for Certified programmers with good A/V knowledge and experience. It also depends which company it is, and where the company is located usually northern states or out west, down here in the south salary range are very low.
