Electrical discrimination is to do with selecting the correct protection in the fault path of an electrical circuit. To illustrate, if you have a machine at the end of an electircal circuit and that is protected by a 13A fuse lets say, and then you have a 20A circuit breaker protecting that at the consumer unit (fuse board), and then the main switch on the consumer unit is a 10A circuit breaker, then every time the machine uses more than 10A of power the main switch will trip and disconnect everything connected to it, that is where discrimination is not achieved. Basically it is where the circuit protection closest to the macine is smaller and it gets bigger as it goes boack to the source, then discimination is achieved. I hope that helps. If not then it probably need a drawing to help answer.
They are completely different. A moulded-case circuit breaker is a low- or medium-voltage device, whereas an air circuit breaker is a very large circuit breaker designed for use in high-voltage transmission/distribution substations.

Yes, an open in main line of a parallel circuit will effect the entire circuit current and make the whole circuit current zero
Protection. They shut off the power to protect the equipment circuits, the main circuits and people.

The main circuit board of the computer is the motherboard.
Currently, there is no manufacturer that makes a main breaker 200 amp service with built-in 200 amp ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection. GFCI protection is typically provided through individual GFCI outlets or circuit breakers installed within the electrical system.
Circuit breakers have replaced fuses in many modern homes. Circuit breakers offer better protection against overloads and short circuits, and they can be reset rather than needing to be replaced like fuses.
No, an electric circuit does not have a beaker. A beaker is a container used for holding liquids, whereas an electric circuit consists of components like wires, batteries, resistors, and switches that allow electricity to flow in a specific path.
The main circuit board of a computer is referred to as the motherboard.
The main characters in Leaving Protection are Robbie and Thor.

Hopefully the current and voltage would be zero. The generators overload and short circuit main breaker protection is there just for conditions like that. As soon as the fault is recognized by the protection the generator is taken off line.
Gate circuits should be isolated from the main power circuit to avoid any damage to the power circuit if gate is damaged.
The main circuit board is known as the Mother Board.
