The higher the resistance the lower the current flow. It restricts the flow of electrical current. The resistance will not depend upon the current. The current flow will depend on the resistance.

What does the size of a current depend upon?

One way to determine current is to measure it, with an ammeter. Another way is to calculate it using Ohm's law: current = voltage / resistance.

How does current depend on resistance?

Pressure from the voltage.

What does a current in a circuit depend on?

current depends on applied voltage and resistance.

What is electronic resister?

Electronics resistor are a basic passive element it oppose the flow of current . the opposition depend upon the value of that resistance high value resistance will only able to flow some few amount of current through them. but low value of resistance allow to flow large current through them.

What does the size of the current depend on?

A: The EMF and total resistance

Do resistivity depend upon area of crosss-section?

No. Resistance does.

The size of a current depend upon what?

voltage

If you know the current through one resistor in a DC circuit then do you know the current through all the other resistors?

No. Current and voltage are directly proportional to one-another and both are related to resistance by Ohm's law: V = IR or Volts = Current * Resistance So the current will depend upon the voltage and the circuit resistance by rearranging the above equations: I = V/R Meaning that the current will decrease as circuit resistance is increased if the voltage remains constant.

Relation between voltage and RPM?

Does the induced current depend on the resistance of the circuit?

In general, yes, it does. For example, if you move a conductor in a magnetic field, this will induce a certain voltage between the extremes of the conductor; the corresponding current will then depend on the resistance.
