An analog control system is one that presents data by measuring a continuous variable. This reports the data back in voltage or pressure.
The main different between a traditional signal and a message is their recipient. A signal is often sent to a mass of people, while a message is more individualized.
A phase difference between two periodic signals is the time difference between two corresponding points on each signal. This time difference is usually measured in degrees or radians, but can be given as a unit of time as well.
A strobe signal is sent by the signal sender without any regard to the signal receiver. This assumes that the design provides sufficient setup and hold time, along with transmission time, to ensure reliable receipt of the signal. A handshake signal is a bi-directional protocol between the signal sender and the signal receiver, which the receiver uses to tell the sender that the signal has been received. In this system, it often does not matter what the transmission time is, but bandwidth can be reduced since the sender must wait for the handshake to come back from the receiver, effectively doubling the time it takes to send a signal.
The main difference between the tow is the signal. VGA uses an analog signal and DVI is a digital signal.

They are the ways of transmitting parallel data to the microprocessor. In single handshake, a peripheral device first sends a "Strobe signal" to the microprocessor to indicate that it is ready to send data. The microprocessor , upon detecting the strobe signal, opens up its input port and receives the data. After receiving data, it sends an "Acknowledge signal" to the peripheral to indicate that transmission has been completed.A transmission session has been completed. In double handshake, first the peripheral device sends a strobe signal, the microprocessor, sends the acknowledge signal to indicate that it is ready to receive data. After which data is received.After sending data, the peripheral sends a strobe signal to indicate data transmission completion, due to which, the microprocessor drops its acknowledge signal and a session has been completed. The only difference in the two is that, in double handshake, the peripheral is informed about the microprocessor's readiness to receive data. This is doesn't happen in single handshake. So the name follows "double handshake", literally meaning "double confirmation".
The basic difference is that in analog modulation the modulating signal is analog signal and in digital modulation it is in digital form.

the difference between both are: Primary transducer:The Mechanical device which converts physical quantity to be measured into a mechanical signal. Secondary tranducer:The Electrical device which converts this mechanical signal to the electrical signal.
