A bedding plane is the area of separation between rock strata made by a cyclical or situational deposition of sediment. Bedding planes are originally parallel to the horizon, but the strata inclination can be altered by crust moving events.
Most of the programming/development positions that I've worked in have been very stressful but they have their moments. Since the stress is often project based it tends to be cyclical and increases and decreases dependant upon where you are in the development cycle. Additionally the company you work for, their ability to effectively plan ahead and the general work ethics of those you work with can either greatly increase or diminish the amount of stress involved.Overall though, I'd say yes, like fleas on a dog.
The fields are completely different. Chemical engineering is taking raw materials and processing them into finished products using the most cost effective inputs. Architecture is essentially making buildings and structures look appealing. The job market for chemical engineers is very strong (at least in the U.S.) because the baby boomers are retiring. The job market for architects is more cyclical and depends on housing demand. See also the article from CNNMoney linked below.
The Booch software engineering methodology [#!booch!#] provides an object-oriented development in the analysis and design phases. The analysis phase is split into steps. The first step is to establish the requirements from the customer perspective. This analysis step generates a high-level description of the system's function and structure. The second step is a domain analysis. The domain analysis is accomplished by defining object classes; their attributes, inheritance, and methods. State diagrams for the objects are then established. The analysis phase is completed with a validation step. The analysis phase iterates between the customer's requirements step, the domain analysis step, and the validation step until consistency is reached. Once the analysis phase is completed, the Booch software engineering methodology develops the architecture in the design phase. The design phase is iterative. A logic design is mapped to a physical design where details of execution threads, processes, performance, location, data types, data structures, visibility, and distribution are established. A prototype is created and tested. The process iterates between the logical design, physical design, prototypes, and testing. The Booch software engineering methodology is sequential in the sense that the analysis phase is completed and then the design phase is completed. The methodology is cyclical in the sense that each phase is composed of smaller cyclical steps. There is no explicit priority setting nor a non-monotonic control mechanism. The Booch methodology concentrates on the analysis and design phase and does not consider the implementation or the testing phase in much detail.
The four types of unemployment are frictional (temporary job transitions), structural (mismatch of skills and job openings), cyclical (due to economic downturns), and seasonal (due to seasonal variations in demand).
d. cyclical
Cyclical, frictional, structural and classical.
Types of unemployment in Botswana are structural unemployment, cyclical unemployment, and frictional unemployment. Unemployment in Botswana is also divided into age and educational types.
Cyclical unemployment rate = Actual rate - Natural rate of unemployment. if you don't have the Natural rate, then you might have Frictional & structural rate, which can be added together to get the natural one N= F+S
Full employment doesn't mean that there is zero unemployment. Full employment only means that the economy is operating at full employment because there is only structural unemployment, frictional unemployment, and seasonal unemployment. Remaining unemployment is cyclical. Even when an economy is working properly, it will experience frictional, seasonal, and structural unemployment. (gp)
The three types of unemployment found in India are structural unemployment, cyclical unemployment, and frictional unemployment. Structural unemployment refers to a mismatch between the skills possessed by job seekers and the requirements of available jobs. Cyclical unemployment occurs due to fluctuations in the economy, leading to reduced demand for labor. Frictional unemployment is a temporary phase when individuals are in-between jobs or searching for new employment opportunities.

There are 5 different types of unemployment: Frictional, Seasonal, Cyclical, Hardcore (or longterm) and Structural. The only type of unemployment that can be fixed or conrolled is Cyclical unemployment, due to fluctuations or recession in the business cyle. Cyclical unemployment causes employers to cut down workers, due to cost cuttings because there is a recession. Everything else is natural.
a. frictional b. cyclical c. seasonal d. structural
There are many types of unemployment frictional, structural, seasonal, and cyclical. -frictional is good because it is those who are too young or old to work -structural is bad because it is those who have been replaced by technology, or cheap foreign work -seasonal is fine because that is like teachers who don't work in the summer -cyclical is the worst because it is those who are laid off because of a recession However, no matter what types of unemployment there are it is necessary to have some, because when it drops too low, so do the wages of the average workers.
Unemployment in the short run can be frictional, structural or cyclical. Frictional unemployment means that the skills people can offer does not match up with the skills employers are looking for. This type of unemployment can be solved by acquiring more human capital. Structural unemployment is when people enter or leave the labor force and when people leave their jobs to go find a new job. Cyclical unemployment is caused by the ups and downs in the business cycle. In the long run classical model, there is no cyclical unemployment. When looking at this in terms of the Philips curve, in the short run, there is a tradeoff between inflation and unemployment, so people's inflationary expectations can shift the Philips curve. In the long run, as unemployment is fixed at the natural rate of unemployment, the NAIRU, the Philips curve is vertical. However the curve can be shifted to the right, that is the natural rate of unemployment could grow if there is a larger labor force.
